Reed Architectural Group is a small, design-focused architecture firm based in Venice, CA, specializing in high-density work throughout Los Angeles. We are seeking a Project Architect with 7-10 years of relevant experience to join our collaborative, fast-paced team.

Our work focuses on multi-family residential, mixed-use (50-250 units), and retail/commercial projects, and this role offers involvement in all phases of a project - from concept design through construction administration.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally within an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on all project phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and permit processing.

Prepare full construction document set.

Able to prepare project specific details and wall sections.

Coordinate with consultants and city agencies across multiple projects at varying stages of development.

Ability to work independently while also excelling in team collaboration and leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (minimum).

7-10 years of architectural design and construction documentation experience.

At least 3 years of experience on multi-family and mixed-use projects.

Strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and self-management.

Basic knowledge of the California Building Code and Los Angeles Municipal Code standards, design, and detailing in Type V and Type III construction.

Architectural licensure path preferred.

Software:

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required)

Bluebeam

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams)

3D modeling/rendering (e.g. SketchUp and Rhino)

Eligibility:
