We invite you to join our team as a Senior Structural Engineer supporting our Building Engineering Group. This role offers the unique opportunity to be involved in the structural analysis, design, and calculation for innovative building structures across diverse sectors including aviation, federal, and industrial.
What you'll be doing:
Lead structural analysis, design, and calculations for new and renovated structures.
Develop comprehensive construction documents.
Assist in project management and execution.
Mentor junior team members.
Collaborate in strategic team growth planning.
Occasional travel for project requirements.
What you'll need to succeed:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
8+ years of relevant experience
SE license in any US state.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
Experience with high seismic structural design
Experience with ASCE-41, Tier 3 Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit
An SE license in California.
Experience designing and detailing structural steel, light gage steel, concrete, masonry, precast, and heavy timber structural building systems
Knowledge of codes, statues, and laws related to building design and construction
Experience with RAM, RISA, SAP, and other structural analysis software
Based in Sacramento, San Diego, or Ontario, CA, with the ability to work a flexible hybrid schedule.
