The Painter is responsible for painting in multi-family dwellings while understanding and utilizing industry best practices. Work focuses on the interiors or apartments after residents move out and before new residents move in as well as the painter may be required to perform exterior, common areas, and specialty painting work. The painter will move frequently across multiple properties within a geographic location based on business needs.
Starting pay $19 per hour (or more based on experience)!
Live and work with Goldmark and receive a generous RENT DISCOUNT as a part-time or full-time team member!
Job Duties Include:
Apply paint to surfaces including walls, floors, doors, trim, and cabinets.
Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes.
Clean, scrape, sand, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting.
Install/repair drywall including taping, mudding, and sanding.
Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic and tape off areas as needed to ensure protection.
Maintain time records of painting projects using mobile work order tracking system.
Experience and Education:
Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, manage time as well as possess an orientation toward details.
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
Prior painting experience with attention to detail is preferred.
Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle and vehicle insurance.
