About this Opportunity:
We have partnered with a leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specializing in custom water treatment systems, delivering cost-effective and reliable solutions for industrial, municipal, and ultrapure water applications.
This role primary duties involve performing TIG welding on stainless steel pipes according to engineered drawings or work orders. Occasionally other metals and welding methods may be also used.
What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare and weld metal parts by cutting, grinding, laying out, and positioning workpieces
Create jigs when production quantities determine a need.
Repair broken or cracked metal objects, fills holes, and builds up metal parts.
Lay out, positions, and tack welds workpieces.
Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.

What makes you a great fit?
One-year certificate from college or technical school, three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to become ASME certified during the first few weeks (certification is supplied and paid for by the client).
Candidate must be able to pass a 3" 304 sch. 40 6g pipe test and a " 304 sch. 10 6g pipe test.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
