We are seeking experienced professionals to support the U.S. Coast Guard's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) Infrastructure Services Division, Transport Services Branch (ISD-TSB) in Alexandria, Virginia. These positions play a vital role in delivering enterprise network transport services, planning and supporting IT projects, improving business processes, and providing project management for mission-critical operations. The team works closely with USCG leadership to gather and prioritize requirements, manage budgets and financial planning, analyze workflows and performance, prepare reports and documentation, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with federal standards.
You will work closely with U.S. Coast Guard leadership and project teams to deliver comprehensive project management, budget planning, business intelligence, and administrative support. Responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing requirements, managing budgets and financial planning, analyzing workflows and performance, generating reports and metrics, preparing internal and external documentation, and driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and compliance with federal requirements.
Work Location:
Primarily onsite at C5ISC Alexandria USCG Base, 7323 Telegraph Rd., Bldg. Eight Pack, Alexandria, VA 22315. Limited telework allowed with prior government approval (up to 8 days per pay period). Telework must follow contract requirements and may be restricted at any time. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the duty location; those outside this area will not be considered.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Public Trust level or higher, as required by the contract. Clearance level will be verified and documented in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard facility access requirements. An active clearance is strongly preferred.

The Project Manager will provide leadership and direction across multiple high-complexity IT projects supporting the ISD-TSB. This role is responsible for managing all phases of project execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer requirements. The Project Manager will coordinate project teams and stakeholders, monitor progress, resolve issues, and review work products for completeness, quality, and compliance with contract standards.
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will support ISD-TSB by establishing the structure, processes, and best practices needed to guide effective project delivery. This role encompasses planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of project execution, aligning oversight activities with business objectives. Responsibilities include defining decision-making roles, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring projects are managed efficiently from initiation through completion.
The project management support includes:
Creating, compiling, and maintaining project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Development and maintenance of an Integrated Master Plan/Schedule
Task Tracking
Business intelligence data gathering, reporting and analysis generation
Preparing Status Reports
Creating, documenting, maintaining business workflows and processes
Creating, compiling, maintaining, and monitoring financial budgetary information at the ISD-TSB Branch level
Draft, analyze, integrate, review, and provide recommendations for Milestones and other documentation in accordance with Government, USCG, DHS and DOD regulations
Gather information, identify issues, and provide recommendations and draft documentation to achieve overall goals for system strategic planning
Provide recommendations, for USCG representative, regarding resolution of issues of milestone decisions
Review, analyze and provide recommendations to the USCG representative to utilize new initiatives and best practices to improve areas within program management
Assist the ISD-TSB Branch Chief with program support for reviews, conferences, briefings, and other meetings
Draft, combine or consolidate program/project schedules and Gantt charts and perform critical path analyses
Provide recommendations to the USCG representative regarding initiatives for Command improvements to reduce overall costs, including but not limited to business case analysis, cost benefit analysis, and e-business solutions
Assist in the development and implementation of a risk management strategy and plan, and prepare risk assessments, analyses, studies, and recommendations
Identify and analyze metrics to track process performance and monitor the use of the metrics
Assist with the development and maintenance of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Schedule (IMS) to capture ISD-TSB projects and future projects or initiatives (e.g. technology roadmap).
Assist in developing and maintaining internal and external presentations, reports, and other contract deliverables in compliance with Coast Guard requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
An *Active* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and interfacing with senior stakeholders
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Highly proficient in: Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI, with experience supporting projects in federal acquisition environments.
Security Clearance: Active Security Clearance at the Public Trust level or higher, as required by the government. Clearance level will be verified and documented in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard facility requirements.
