Responsibilities That Empower :

  • Develop comprehensive structural design drawing packages using AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Collaborate closely with the lead structural engineer and other discipline teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Uphold design standards and adhere to all applicable codes and regulations, ensuring the safety and integrity of every project.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of structural design standards and procedures.
  • Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets effectively, demonstrating your organizational prowess.
  • Initiate AutoCAD drawing setups based on engineer specifications and create detailed plans from sketches and redlines.
  • Play a key role in maintaining and enhancing CAD standards, driving efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain project coordination models using various software tools.
  • Adhere to company quality control and project management procedures, ensuring excellence in every deliverable.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team dynamic.

Must-Have Qualifications :

  • Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in structural design.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and adaptability to changing project needs.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications :

  • Experience with 3D modeling software.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
