Your Role
Become a part of our North America Project Team (NAPT) as a Mechanical Design Engineer and contribute to the creation of innovative, tailored mechanical solutions for our global clients in the automotive, aerospace, and general industry sectors. You will work in collaboration with international teams and take the lead in designing power tool outputs, fixtures, and robotic end effectorsYour expertise will play a vital role in shaping our company's success and propelling the automotive industry into the future. Location : Detroit, MI
In this position, you will:
- Spearhead mechanical design for customized industrial solutions
- Work alongside global teams in Europe, Asia, and North America
- Prepare RFQs, BOMs, and manage vendor sourcing
- Assist project managers with design concepts and models
- Supervise the production of electromechanical assemblies
- Carry out additional duties as assigned

To succeed, you will need
Qualifications
- Ability to design and manufacture customized solutions used in manufacturing passenger
- CAD proficiency (Creo preferred)
- Project management software, Adobe Workfront a bonus, Microsoft Project
- Strong communication and project management skill
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment design
- 2+ years in threaded fastening assembly
Education
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (required
- PMP Certification (a plus)
Travel
Willingness to travel regularly throughout North America and occasionally international travel.
