- Design electrical circuitry, hydraulics, and hose components of heavy equipment using Solidworks.
- Collaborate with project design teams on part selection and implement design changes.
- Act as the technical expert within the design team.
- Assist in building prototypes prior to production.
- Redesign parts throughout production and assembly processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers on process or quality changes.
- Work with engineering teams to maintain project deadlines.
- Proficiency in Solidworks with at least 2+ years of experience, including schooling.
- Experience in hose and harness design.
- Knowledge in electrical design and circuitry.
- Experience with hydraulics for at least 6+ months.
- Familiarity with design schematics and hydraulic systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with hydraulic and electric components.
- Ability to work with Raspberry Pi and related technologies.
The work environment consists of a team of nine individuals collaborating with engineering teams across the organization. The setting is primarily a cubicle environment, but there will be occasions to work on the production floor. The dress code is business casual, with jeans permissible, and steel-toed shoes are required. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with a start time between 6:00 and 6:30 AM.
