NX Design Engineer

We have an exciting new opportunity for 1 2 Mechanical Design Contractors to support a high-impact engineering project based in the South Bay/Silicon Valley area. This is a 100% onsite role with a well-established engineering services firm, working on a confidential project for a major end-user in the semiconductor industry.

Position Overview

• Role: Mechanical Designer (NX CAD with TeamCenter)
• Location: South Bay / Silicon Valley (Onsite Only)
• Duration: 3 6 Months
• Pay Rate: $50 $55/hr (W2, H1B, or 3rd Party OK)
• Start Date: ASAP (after background check and NDA)

Top Skills Required

1. NX CAD (Siemens NX) Must have recent hands-on experience (within the last 6 12 months)
2. TeamCenter Required
3. Tooling & Fixtures Design
4. Machined Parts & Mechanisms Design
5. Experience with complex mechanical systems (1000+ parts)

Additional Qualifications

• 2D/3D CAD Modeling, Electro-Mechanical Layouts
• Design of metals, sheet metal, machined enclosures
• DFM, GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, FEA
• BOMs, Documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to work in secure/confidential environments
• BSME or equivalent experience (non-degreed designers also considered)

Other Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Must sign an NDA
• Possible drug test and short ethics training
