Framer/Carpenter

Redbird Carpentry is seeking an experienced carpenter. 1-3 years of experience in custom residential framing preferred. Ideal candidates for this position would be self-motivated individuals with a desire for a career in the construction industry and the capacity and willingness to learn. Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal instruction from lead carpenter.
Redbird Carpentry is a full service carpentry company. Our work is primarily custom residential framing, but we also do windows, siding, timber work, and some interior finish carpentry.
We are based in Fort Collins, and our service area includes Boulder, Estes Park, Red Feather Lakes, and all points in between.
Job Responsibilities for the Carpenter:
-Basic proficiency in plan reading
-Cut and fabricate building components at direction of lead carpenter
-Construct building components at the direction of lead carpenter including floor systems, walls, truss roofs, framed roofs, hardware, decks, and backout framing
-Prep and install windows and exterior doors
-Install exterior trim and siding components
-Jobsite cleanup and organization

Job Requirements:

-Punctuality and reliability
-Reliable transportation
-Basic proficiency in speaking English
-Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds
-Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
-Tool belt and basic framers hand tools

Pay and Benefits

-Pay range: $25-$32 per hour as W-2 employee based on experience.

-6 paid holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
-Up to 80 hours paid time off per year (accrues at the rate of .041 hours of PTO per one hour worked)
-One way drive time paid on projects located more than 45 minutes from central Fort Collins
-$50 monthly tool stipend
