**Job Description:**
**Verdantas** is a national consulting group seeking a talented **Civil Engineer III** to join our team in our **Nashville, Office.**
This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful civil infrastructure and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in land development and water resources design, including stormwater management, site grading, and erosion control.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design or provide Project Management
+ Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
+ Stormwater management design
+ Site grading
+ Erosion and sediment control design
+ Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
+ Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
+ Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
+ Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
+ Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors or associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
+ 6+ or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
+ Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software
+ Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs
+ Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
+ PE Preferred
+ Familiarity with ArcGIS software is preferred
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
**Salary Range**
85,000 - 105,000
