GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
The Superintendent 1 will support field execution by learning the ropes of project coordination, jobsite management, and trade oversight. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for recent graduates or individuals early in their construction careers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This is a mid-level Superintendent role designated for individuals with experience running jobs independently but not yet responsible for mentoring other Superintendents or managing multiple projects concurrently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Own the jobsite from mobilization through closeout, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality goals
- Conduct daily site walks to ensure production alignment with plans and subcontractor scopes
- Lead weekly trade coordination meetings to drive accountability and resolve field conflicts
- Lead field operations including labor, subs, equipment, and site logistics
- Enforce jobsite safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
- Escalate critical schedule, safety, or quality issues to Director of Operations and Project Manager with proposed solutions
- Serve as site-level point of contact for builder or client field representatives, maintaining professional communication and timely updates
- Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections, punch list completion, and trade partner sign-offs
- Complete daily reports, site photos, and safety toolbox talks
- Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain schedule and budget
- Support field staff and troubleshoot issues in real-time
- Assist in coordinating field labor, subcontractors, and equipment
- Support site safety, cleanliness, and quality control
- Participate in daily field reporting and photo documentation
- Conduct or assist with safety toolbox talks
- Learn and apply software tools such as Procore and Bluebeam
- Support senior superintendents and field operations leadership
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- 3+ years of construction site supervision (large project experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of paint and drywall trades
- Multi-Family experience highly preferred
- Bachelor's in Construction Management OR equivalent field experience
- Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam
- OSHA certification and safety-first mindset
- Willingness to travel throughout the Carolinas a strong plus
- Valid driver's license and insurable with company insurance policy

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as room setups or walkthroughs.
- Willingness to visit job sites, walk buildings, and interact with field and office teams.

- Computer, smartphone, CRM platforms, forecasting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools
