Cost Analyst Project Controls About the Role

Were looking for a detail-drivenCost Analystto support project controls by managing procurement, preparing contracts, and tracking costs throughout the construction process. Youll help ensure projects stay on budget and contribute to their commercial success by analyzing financial data, forecasting costs, and supporting decision-making.

What Youll Do
  • Manage procurement and tendering processes for new projects.
  • Prepare and maintain contractual documentation.
  • Monitor and control construction costs from start to finish.
  • Support contractors in achieving commercial success.
  • Evaluate work for interim payments and assist with claims.
  • Finalize project accounts and reconcile costs.
  • Build capital budgets and forecasts for new business initiatives.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to guide decisions.
What Youll Bring
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost control, ideally on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, MATCH, pivot tables).
  • Experience with Oracle ERP or SAP systems.
  • Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $200K to $1M+.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience in the energy sector.
  • Familiarity with estimation, forecasting, and cost management tools.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and Procore.
  • Background in project controls or cost analysis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16/hr.
