Position Title: Project Manager/Project Engineer I
Job Description
Mid-level staff engineering position, Watertown, Wisconsin offices.
- Candidate’s initial responsibilities will include assisting project managers and project engineers with daily tasks such as; customer and supplier communications, ordering of raw material and parts, job cost tracking, using STRUMIS to track projects through the entire manufacturing process from estimating through shipping for large, time-line sensitive, capital projects. Candidate will also be expected to assist the engineering staff with the creation and detailing of drawings for manufacturing and construction. When competent in daily tasks, this candidate will be trained in both estimating and project management such that they may develop into an independent project manager.
- Candidate needs to be able work well with other teams such as outside engineering suppliers and internal manufacturing to provide information such as drawings to the factory for fabrication, as well as final construction drawings to the customer.
- Candidate will also work with the business development team by providing technical support both in house as well as in the field. Required travel should be no more than about 10% per year to domestic and international customers.

In addition to corrugated bins and mills, Baker Rullman also designs and builds complete rotary dryer dehydration systems which are used to dry organic materials such as; fruit and vegetable waste, distillers’ grains, municipal sludge, manures, wood derivatives, pet food ingredients and livestock by-products.
Job Qualifications
- Associate or BS in Project Management or an engineering discipline such as, Manufacturing, Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering preferred
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor Suite, STRUMIS, Advanced Steel, RISA and Revit preferred.
- Experience focused in manufacturing and the fabrication of Structural Steel helpful
- If you have an engineering degree, EIT preferred
- Prefer 2-5 years’ experience
