Responsibilities:
- Estimate millwork projects and prepare bids
- Perform take-offs from drawings and specs
- Prepare cost and labor estimates
- Write and submit proposals
- Track bids and project statuses
- Attend site visits and meetings
- Review and evaluate bids for accuracy
- Consult with shop and field teams
- Coordinate with management and project teams
- Maintain estimating logs and updates
- Follow up on submitted bids
- Network with clients to build leads
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Solicit vendor pricing
- Ensure specs and requirements are met
- 3+ years of millwork or construction estimating experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs
- Experience preparing take-offs and estimates
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Excel
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable meeting deadlines and handling multiple bids
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally
