Millwork Estimator – Fairfield, NJ ($80K–$120K)

We are seeking a Millwork Estimator for a full-time, on-site role with a busy millwork operation in Fairfield, NJ. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing estimates from take-off to bid submission while maintaining client relationships and supporting pre-construction planning.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate millwork projects and prepare bids
  
  
• Perform take-offs from drawings and specs
  
  
• Prepare cost and labor estimates
  
  
• Write and submit proposals
  
  
• Track bids and project statuses
  
  
• Attend site visits and meetings
  
  
• Review and evaluate bids for accuracy
  
  
• Consult with shop and field teams
  
  
• Coordinate with management and project teams
  
  
• Maintain estimating logs and updates
  
  
• Follow up on submitted bids
  
  
• Network with clients to build leads
  
  
• Build and maintain client relationships
  
  
• Solicit vendor pricing
  
  
• Ensure specs and requirements are met
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of millwork or construction estimating experience
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs
  
  
• Experience preparing take-offs and estimates
  
  
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Excel
  
  
• Organized and dependable
  
  
• Comfortable meeting deadlines and handling multiple bids
  
  
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally
  
  

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (on-site, not remote)
