Structural Pulse Arc Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Pulse Arc Welders for projects located in and around Newport News, VA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $45/hour based on experience plus $140/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• All Position Fillet and Butt Welds using the Following Processes: SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding), and GMAWP Pulse Arc Welding
• Heating Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch
• Air Carbon Arc Gouging

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 4 Years of NNS or Naval Shipyard Experience as a First Class Welder
  • Able to Pass Various Welding Tests
  • Experience Working in a Physically Demanding Environment, Shipyard Assemblies, Staging, etc.
  • Familiarity with OSHA Regulations Relative to the Shipbuilding Industry
  • Ability to Properly use Fillet and Butt Weld Gauges
