Job Summary:

The Beaver Creek Resort Company of Colorado combines a homeowners association and a resort association with some municipal services added. The Resort Company, a Colorado non-profit corporation, incorporated on April 30, 1979, was designed to help Beaver Creek become and remain a unique resort community.

The Project Manager position will provide direct support for the planning and execution of Beaver Creek Resort Company Strategic Initiative projects.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $68,545 - $90,333 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Director of Strategic Initiatives, the primary duties of the Project Manager are as follows:
  • Assist in developing and overseeing the execution of multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
  • Tracking and management of project budgets, invoices and overall financials.
  • Coordination and on-site management of contractors and acting as the on-site point of contact during project implementation/construction.
  • Scheduling and leading project meetings with contractors, project stakeholders, etc.
  • Coordinate necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly project progress reports and updates; develop monthly status reports for Board of Directors.
  • Procurement of equipment and services, including preparation and review of multiple quotes or bids.
  • Effective problem solving throughout project life cycle, with timely escalation and communication of critical issues.
  • Interface and coordination on projects and maintenance with Village Operations, property managers, Beaver Creek Metro District, etc.
  • Interface and coordinate projects with consultants, developing agendas and issuing meeting minutes on all project meetings with Owners Representatives, General Contractors, Engineers, Architects, and Specialty Designers.
  • Ongoing responsibilities for maintenance and operational support of certain initiatives
  • Support preparation of project presentations, RFPs, etc.
  • Assist and support BCRC team and events as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience managing construction and/or maintenance projects, preferably in a mountain resort environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history of self-development.
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and diagrams.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills as the department develops and grows.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Must live in Eagle County and have own vehicle.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

The expected pay range is $68,545 - $90,333 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
