Working on site at the facility is required.You will be responsible for owning, driving, planning, scheduling, and mapping out how our products flow throughout their production process or cycle.In this Role, you will be responsible for:Develop and improve tactical plans that establish the overall level of manufacturing production plansSet up proper item-level parameters to drive demand in the MRP system for manufacturing and purchasingRelease work orders for production, and reschedule orders as neededDrive, promote and develop positive communication with Marketing and Sales to improve forecast accuracyDevelop and maintain Forecast, master schedule and procurement plan based on history, seasonality and sales opportunities.Review and update forecast, production schedules and material requirements.Support new product development through cooperative scheduling of model introductions, end of life and prototype processing with the potential suppliersProactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions appropriate to impact manufacturing MPS and supply MRP exception messages.Participate in the evaluation of quotations from our contracted manufacturers to assure all pertinent information is available to analyze for best possible price, quality and supply services to meet our strategic needs for the product life.Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with Contract Manufacturers, Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements. Propose changes when needed and assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.Responsible for establishing production rates that will achieve management's objective in satisfying customer demand balanced with optimizing inventory levels and order backlogsHigh focus on customer service interactionPresents a competent and composed demeanor, representing the company with professionalism to all stakeholders (including but not limited to applicants, employees, contractors, vendors, and customers) to successfully advance the interests of the companyFollows all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, models safe work practicesResponsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment.Ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employeeOther duties as assigned. What you'll Need to Succeed:Requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing Engineering or similar5+ years' experience in Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Material Requirement Planning and ForecastingWorking knowledge of tools and techniques for planning of inventory and production such as CRP, LEAN and TOC.Experience with S&OP aligning and forecastingExperience in Aerospace or other regulatory industry with a machining focus is preferredKnowledge and experience in a professional business environmentProven experience with complex planning, forecasting and product lifecycle programsExperience with Purchasing/Materials tools (MRP, Inventory analysis, part or supplier profiles, etc)Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environmentProven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressuresExcellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)Outstanding interpersonal and emotional intelligence skillsStrong focus and attention to detailTime management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environmentExcellent organization agility, problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong focus on customer serviceAbility to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization The target wage/salary range for this role may be within $95K - $130K., depending on education and experience.
