General Laborer**
**Pay: $20-22/Hour**
**Location: Tacoma, WA**
**Shift's: Day: 5AM-3:45PM Swing: 1:15PM-12AM**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a high-capacity general laborer/production worker who will be responsible for unloading product lines, visually inspecting products, verifying quality using a tape measure, and packing finished goods. This role also includes working as a material handler alongside machine operators, with opportunities to train on various equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload product lines and visually inspect products.
+ Verify product quality using a tape measure with precision up to 1/16th of an inch.
+ Pack finished goods efficiently and securely.
+ Collaborate with machine operators and handle materials.
+ Train on various equipment as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs. regularly.
+ Strong understanding and ability to use a tape measure with precision.
+ High attention to detail and experience with visual inspection.
+ Packaging, crating, and wrapping skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous sit-down forklift experience is preferred.
+ Experience with air nailers (training available).
+ Experience working in manufacturing with sheet metal.
+ Roll form experience or machine operation experience (training available).
**Work Environment**
The work environment consists of a large manufacturing floor with machines for cutting, bending, and shaping metal, both indoor and outdoor, with a yard for storage. Forklifts and machinery are constantly running. The facility is cold in winter and hot in summer. The current schedule involves 10-hour workdays, Monday to Friday, with a swing shift from 1:15pm to 12:00am.
