Description
The Construction Foreman, based in the Myton, Utah field office, is responsible for leading field construction activities, including day to day management of construction and operations, planning, cost tracking and reporting. This role ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while managing project costs and schedules. Reporting to the Superintendent, the Foreman will work closely with the Facilities Team in the Utah Operating Area and collaborate regularly with facilities engineering, field operations, and technical staff across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and interpersonal skills, a proactive and self-motivated attitude, and the ability to effectively organize, communicate (written and verbal), and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead a team of field construction personnel, both company employees and contractors
Manage interface and communication with pipeline team, field instrument and electrical team, production team, construction vendors, equipment fabrication vendor, etc.
Support and promote Environmental Health and Safety culture and quality systems as a priority, aligning with FourPoint's core management philosophy and priorities
Manage logistics on required equipment delivery to field for assigned projects
Manage material transfer requirement and documentation
Support the implementation of the MOC process to support field process changes
Deliver and review construction drawing packages with the construction vendors prior to construction kick-off
Ability to plan, bid and manage civil construction projects
Ensure construction contractors work and build to the latest drawing packages
Manage field construction cost including cost tracking and reporting
Champion cost reduction efforts in the field
Determine the most cost-effective construction methods and use of material, equipment, personnel, and subcontractors
Provide general schedule update on field construction projects
Contribute to the development and assessment of key tactical and strategic decisions, integrating them into the construction execution plan
Facilitate or lead constructability and interactive field construction planning sessions
Act as liaison to construction stakeholders for improved relationships and project synergy
Establish and maintain good working relations with the Pipeline, Production, Maintenance, and Operations counterparts
Manage cost and schedule risk during construction
Promote project controls development to track cost, schedule, and productivity
Provide training, development, and continuous improvement opportunities for the field construction team.
Focus on the drilling and development schedule to set priorities around construction activities and to continually stay ahead of the rigs in order to get new wells to sales
Strong team building skills and ability to communicate effectively across all functions in the organization

Education, Skills and Experience Required
10+ years of experience in oil and gas construction, onshore well-head facilities construction experience required
Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred but not required
Experience leading a team that interfaces with a multifunctional team
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and fluid environment
Demonstrated track record of technical excellence
Experience with writing and administering contracts for services, construction and equipment
Strong computer skills
Safety sensitive position and will be subject to the relevant requirements of the FourPoint Alcohol and Drug policy which includes pre-employment testing
Physical Requirements
Must be able to react to potentially dangerous situations quickly and appropriately
Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, visual acuity, hearing, speaking
Must be able to climb 15 foot high ladders and stairwells
Will be required to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
Must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours and on weekends
