Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Finish Carpenter / Millwork Installer to join our team. This role involves the on-site installation of custom wood trim, cabinetry, doors, and architectural millwork produced in our shop. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finish carpentry, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that reflect our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Install custom wood trim, cabinetry, doors, panels, and other architectural millwork
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation instructions
Accurately measure, cut, fit, and fasten components using hand and power tools
Work closely with project managers, general contractors, and clients on-site
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
Transport and handle materials with care to prevent damage
Troubleshoot and adapt to site conditions while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in finish carpentry or architectural millwork installation
Proficient with carpentry tools, equipment, and installation methods
Strong understanding of trim, cabinetry, and custom woodworking components
Ability to work from drawings with precision and minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
Must be able to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
