Job Details
This role supports the management of the solar connection process, specifically the interconnection application queues in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Key responsibilities include processing applications, coordinating consultants, handling administrative tasks, managing consultant invoices, facilitating communication with internal stakeholders (PM team, DER management, DER engineering), managing KPIs related to lean processes, coordinating customer communication via Salesforce portal, and answering technical customer and developer questions with support from engineering.
The role includes daily reporting on applications, prioritizing work based on KPIs, answering and escalating technical questions from customers, coordinating the contract signing process, participating in meetings to review application status, tracking follow-ups from stakeholders, and supporting application flow and consultant coordination.
The contractor will work closely with internal groups such as the DER engineering team, DER management, PM team, and external developers/customers.
Collaborative, cross-functional, and highly communicative. The role includes coordination between various internal departments and regular interaction with external stakeholders.
Shift: Denver: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; or Minneapolis: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience and a technical background (engineering or project management), with a 2-4 year degree (or equivalent experience).
Project coordination/management (meeting facilitation, scheduling, tracking tasks)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with Salesforce and Excel
Technical understanding of utilities or electrical engineering
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Lean Six Sigma certification or experience
Experience in utility or renewable energy sectors
