Description Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Roadway Design Engineer - Entry-Level for our Baton Rouge, LA office to work on a variety of Transportation projects throughout Louisiana.Are you ready to inspire, engage and deliver? Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation.
- Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects.
- Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
- Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
- Prepares engineering studies and reports.
- Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.
What you'll need
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred
- Engineering analysis in 2D and 3D.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects
