Electrical Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and specify medium and low voltage power systems for large-scale capital HVAC replacement and one-off complex projects. This role involves comprehensive project planning, development, and construction/permit drawing design.

Responsibilities

  • Design and specify power systems, including project and peak load calculations.
  • Create one-line diagrams and select appropriate equipment sizes.
  • Develop equipment layouts and system controls.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to meet customer requirements.
  • Organize, plan, and manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate and develop client relationships.
  • Ensure designs comply with Building and Energy codes.
  • Travel up to 20% for project needs.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in electrical design using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in electrical engineering and design.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Building and Energy codes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE/SE) License in Structural.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in construction roof evaluation and structural loading.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications.
Work Environment

This is a fully remote role with candidates required to be in Eastern or Central time zones. The position offers the chance to work with a fast-growing team and advance into a leadership role within the next couple of years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
