Assistant Project Manager
Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Project Manager to support the final phase of an exciting project in Reisterstown, Maryland. Join a family-owned and fast-growing company that offers opportunities for advancement and a team with great tenure, ranging from 4 to 12 years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project plans, define tasks, coordinate with the team, craft timelines, and allocate resources.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including contractors, the project team, clients, designers, and engineers.
  • Oversee risk management, monitor progress against schedules, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Handle contract administration, change orders, procurements, and prepare scheduling and financial reports.
  • Secure and support permits, ensuring subcontractors have the correct insurance.
  • Supervise project progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Essential Skills
  • NAVFAC - Construction Quality Management Certification
  • Experience with local DMV general contractors
  • Ground up experience with projects valued at $20 million
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Construction management
  • Project management experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience in commercial and interior construction
Work Environment

This role requires 100% on-site presence at Camp Frederick in Reisterstown, Maryland. The project involves building a joint Army, Navy, and Marine training facility at a Marine Reserve Facility. The scope includes constructing four buildings, such as a locker room, offices, training, education, and vehicle service station. The project is expected to last for six more months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $57.69/hr.
