Americana Fine Carpentry is looking for an apprentice carpenter.

Someone with the desire to learn multiple skills, who enjoys working with their hands. You must be teachable and have a positive attitude.

The Job:

We are a high end finish carpentry and custom cabinetry company. We work in high end custom homes. Both remodels and new builds.
This is a job for someone that wants to learn a trade and to gain the knowledge and skills to be an excellent trim carpenter.

Requirements:

Skills to read and write in English
Valid drivers license, own automobile insurance, and full use of a vehicle during business hours
Must have great attitude and work ethic, on time and ready to work
Display courteous behavior and a clean and neat appearance
Able to work outdoors and indoors year-round in various weather conditions.
Must be respectful in customers homes and able to work around children and pets

Job Duties:
Follow specific directions while performing a wide variety of duties working within established standards for quality and accuracy
Able to safely operate a variety of hand and stationary power tools
Able to lift 75lbs., perform heavy physical labor including demolition
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Maintain a clean job site, tools and equipment
Load materials and carry to/from vehicle and job site
Comfortable working on a ladder and scaffolding
Able to work in a team environment with others and also independently

Experience: 0-2 years. Will train the right person- a positive attitude is everything

Compensation: Hourly, DOE, typically $16 - $20 an hour to start. Paid weekly on Mondays.
