Responsibilities Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from initial planning and contract execution to successful completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Assume full technical ownership of documents, leading their interpretation, organization, execution, and coordination with stakeholders. Effectively manage project budgets, utilizing resources efficiently and monitoring expenditures to ensure project completion within budget constraints. Monitor and mentor assigned staff, ensuring their activities align with project requirements and contribute to optimal project outcomes. Act as the central point of contact and facilitator for seamless communication and collaboration between clients, company personnel, and contractors, proactively resolving any project issues that may arise. Analyze complex construction and design challenges, while identifying opportunities for innovative solutions and developing and implementing effective techniques or procedures. Represent projects and clients professionally and confidently at meetings and conferences, providing clear and concise communication of project progress and status. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for NV5, leveraging expertise and established relationships to expand the company's portfolio and market presence as needed. Review and respond to client correspondence promptly and effectively, ensuring all inquiries and concerns are addressed efficiently. Maintain open communication with clients, keeping them informed about project developments, potential issues, and proposed solutions to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Coordinate effectively with other agencies involved in the project, maintaining open communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives and ensure smooth execution. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology Minimum of 20 years of directly related professional work experience PE required PTOE and/or AICP, a plus Excellent writing skills Intermediate level Microsoft Office Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities.
