The Associate Project Manager in the commercial moving industry is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of office and industrial relocation projects. This role supports the Project Manager in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. The Associate Project Manager will handle various administrative and logistical tasks, liaise with clients, vendors, and moving crews, and contribute to the overall success of moving projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination - Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and logistics. Coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure timelines are met. Client Communication - Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the moving process. Team Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, moving crews, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution. Vendor Management - Coordinate with vendors and service providers, ensuring that all necessary equipment, materials, and services are available when needed. Documentation - Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports. Assist in preparing project status reports and post-move evaluations. Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Experience - 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the commercial moving or logistics industry. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. **Certifications:** PMP or other project management certification is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by project schedules. Capability to perform site visits and supervise moving activities on location. Working Conditions: Mix of office and on-site work environments. Frequent travel to client sites and project locations. Exposure to varying weather conditions during site visits. Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, andvolume.
