**About this Role: **The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, quoting, and execution of projects across multiple divisions of the company. This multifaceted position involves implementing advanced transportation technologies, interpreting DOT blueprints, managing customer relationships, and supporting internal departments through contract management, job costing, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical design and sales, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to continuous innovation and efficiency, all while upholding the company's reputation for excellence and reliability.

**Responsibilities:**

Develop and compile detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for projects, including system requirements, technical specifications, and implementation strategies

Coordinate with various stakeholders including engineers, technicians, contractors, government agencies, and community members to facilitate project execution

Assist in managing the tracking of integrations that are done by the Field Application Engineers/Technicians

Track project expenditures, manage budget allocations, and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the project life cycle

Build and maintain a working knowledge of current product offerings from our contracted suppliers and overall market coordination

Handle a project from inception to completion, with attention to detail and a keen eye for process improvement and superior execution; ensure that the project is completed on time, on budget, and based on quality standards

Review DOT plans and prepare materials list to compare with project estimates

Communicate with other related company departments, such as Order Entry, Sales, Purchasing, and Assembly; advise of any concerns and develop solutions to ensure timelines are met; order materials and resources; manage job from start to completion with deliverables

Monitor project schedules with attention to detail on timeframes and lead times

Maintain an organized workflow, operating within the existing company system

Successful skills of persuasion and strong customer service orientation are required, including experience with developing strong partnerships/relationships by understanding and anticipating a customer's needs

Assist with the preparation and maintenance or folders/documentation for the Engineering and Assembly Departments

Enter, produce, and submit invoicing for department head approval

Complete cross departmental reporting and provide required documentation

Assist leadership with the general operation and administrative needs of the department on an ongoing and as needed basis

Assist in all areas of the company to build a working knowledge of all products

Any other duties as supervisor, the President and CEO may require

Strong work ethics are necessary

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work at a computer

Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions accurately and completely as needed

Strong basic electrical wiring knowledge*, *preferred

*Education and Experience: *

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with a strong understanding of transportation systems, preferred

High school diploma or equivalent, required

Proven experience in project management methodologies and principles, required

Familiarity with previous relevant transportation regulations and standards, preferred

Prior data entry experience, required

Previous technology sales experience, preferred

Prior structural or mechanical engineering experience, preferred

Strong basic electrical knowledge, preferred
