Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

As an Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, you will work with a team of engineers, scientists, and researchers to develop the next generation of microelectronic designs critical to our national interests. You will assist your colleagues and clients in developing novel analog, mixed-signal, RF, and trusted designs leveraging commercial best practices and state of the art tools and techniques. You'll research and implement new and novel approaches for design and verification in the unique DoD design environment. You will provide technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies to support senior DoD decision-makers, including conducting background research in evaluating the feasibility of and potential applications for new technological concepts. You'll produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government research and development efforts.

You Have:
3+ years of experience in a microelectronics design or verification role
Experience with analog and mixed-signal designs and applications at advanced technology nodes
Experience with modern EDA tool chains for design, including Cadence, Siemens, or Synopsys
Experience performing technical research, documenting results, and presenting findings to customers and stakeholders
Ability to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a client-service mindset, seek out solutions, and deliver value within uncertain and evolving project environments
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Nice If You Have:
10+ years of experience in a microelectronics design or verification role
Experience leading independent or small technical groups in planning, executing, and delivering complete projects
Experience with 2.5D or 3D advanced packaging and interposer technologies
Experience with RF integrated circuit design and verification and RF or EM simulation tools such as Microwave Office, HFSS, or ADS
Experience with MATLAB and other simulation tools
Experience with other aspects of the ASIC design flow such as architecture and synthesis, prototyping, power analysis, or security verification
Knowledge of problems and solutions associated with designing for hardware security and trust
Possession of excellent communication, writing, research, and documentation skills, including using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Secret clearance
Master's degree in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred; Doctorate degree in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field a plus
