Welder - Structural Steel Fabrication Location: Cordova, Alabama Job Type: Contract to Hire About the Role Join a fast-paced, high-performance steel fabrication shop where your welding skills will help shape critical infrastructure projectsfrom bridges and dams to commercial buildings. You'll be hands-on with structural steel, transforming raw materials into durable, precision-built components. Key Responsibilities Perform flux core welding on structural steel components. Accurately measure, cut, and weld steel parts to specification. Fabricate and assemble steel structures using shop drawings and blueprints. Work with beams, stainless steel, and carbon steel, ensuring quality and structural integrity. Interpret and follow fabrication/shop blueprints with precision. Required Skills & Experience 1-4+ years of experience in flux core welding. Proven experience in steel or metal fabrication. Familiarity with structural steel and beam work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols (AWS). Skilled in fitting and welding stainless, mild, and carbon steel. Experience with arc welding and back gauging is a plus. Why Join Us?
