Machine Tool Builder

Shift:** Days and Nights Openings - Must be willing to work weekends as needed.

**Description:**

- Must own tools and rolling box

- Drilling and tapping, reaming

- Read and interpret blueprints

- Sub assembly and integration

- Build conveyor lines, fixtures, assemblies, robotic weld lines, and end of arm tooling

- Fabrication and welding -- light

- Integration and assembly work

- Daily use of hand tools and power tools

- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments

- Modify parts and materials to improve overall production

- Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery

- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments

- Must have an understanding of automated machines and associated tooling

- Knowledge of mechanical standards, tooling assembly, and setup

- Familiar with tool room equipment such as lathe, mill, and bridgeports etc. -- sub assembly

- Proficient in build practices for Chrysler, Ford, and GM

- Follow installation of equipment from build to plant

- Maintenance and troubleshooting of build

- Installs and teardowns

- Install cable tray, tooling, and framing systems
