What You'll Be Doing

• Operate screed and paving equipment to ensure a smooth asphalt surface.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and quality.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and minor equipment repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
  

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

• $40.85 base 28.69 per hour w/ NYS DOL Prevailing wage pay based on work.
