Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedCivil/Structural Engineerto join our growing team. This role is ideal for alicensed Professional Engineer (PE)or an experienced EIT on the path to licensure who enjoys solving complex structural challenges and making a direct impact on property owners and communities.Youll conduct forensic investigations, structural assessments, and design work, while also serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a dynamic role that blends fieldwork with technical reporting and design, offering a high degree of independence and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Conductforensic structural evaluationsof residential and commercial buildings.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and repair/construction design documents.
- Lead or supportstructural designfor new construction and renovations.
- Performconstruction administrationand provide on-site technical guidance.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Travel to inspection sites across the region (approximately 50% fieldwork).
- Perform physical inspections in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and rooftops.
- Bachelors degree inCivil Engineering(Structural focus preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE)license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum5 yearsof structural engineering experience.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Structural forensics, residential and commercial design.
- Civil site design, land development, erosion control, stormwater management.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software and CAD tools.
