DAS Cable Installer

Description

Our client is a specialized telecommunications provider working across four core categories:

• LMR (Land Mobile Radio)
• IBS/IDAS (In-Building Wireless Systems)
• ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems)
• Security Systems

They are actively engaged in long-term in-building wireless projects, focusing on the construction and maintenance of wireless access points. These projects span across federal, state, and local governments, as well as sectors like education, transportation, and healthcare.

This position supports growing demands in the Manassas, VA market. Responsibilities include:

• Installation of wireless systems
• Low voltage cable management
• System testing and troubleshooting
• On-site customer service and client interaction

Technicians will report to the Manassas office each morning and travel with the team to designated job sites. Projects may occasionally extend into the greater Washington, DC area.

Standard work week is Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Optional Friday work may be available depending on project demand

Top Skills Details

• Minimum 2+ years of coaxial and fiber cable installation
• Proficiency in ISP/network cable construction, including racking, stacking, dressing, and labeling
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting (preferred)DAS experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn and grow

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
