HVAC Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform essential repairs and maintenance in a hospital setting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems through routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and mechanical faults.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance in a hospital environment.
+ Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning air ducts, changing filters, and testing HVAC systems.
+ Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical faults.
+ Install and repair thermostats, seal ducts, and replace defective HVAC equipment.
+ Ensure HVAC units operate safely and comply with government regulations.
+ Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment effectively.
+ Read and understand blueprints and drawings to execute tasks accurately.
**Essential Skills**
+ Expertise in HVAC systems, electrical, and mechanical repair.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
+ Strong customer service skills and experience with field service.
+ Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ EPA Universal certification is preferred.
+ Experience with sheet metal work and duct installations.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted on the first shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities during weekends. The role requires adherence to safety standards and regulations within the hospital.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
