Commercial Construction Estimator

Role Overview: As a Commercial Construction Estimator , you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial projects from conceptual through final construction documents. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and RFPs to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and estimates

• Develop detailed scope of work and pricing for all trades

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

• Maintain historical cost database and update unit pricing

• Work closely with the project team to transition estimates into budgets

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator

• Proven ability to estimate projects ranging from $1M–$50M+

• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating, Procore, etc.)

• Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
