Under general direction, the Project Manager ensures the installation of all roofing, meets
quality standards established by Senior Management while maintaining maximum
efficiency and economy of operations at or below budget.
Essential Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Ensure that all pre-production work is complete and in place prior to staffing jobs.
- Promote cooperation, communication and coordination between the job site and
the office. This is also to include all required reports and paperwork submitted on
time and in the proper format.
- Ensure that the information flow and instructions needed to complete the job is
shared between Estimators, Superintendents, and Foremen and ensure that the
process is efficient.
- Quality Control by ensuring all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to
the specification, and satisfaction of the customer.
- Monitor the financial status of each project such as expenditures. Identify financial
variances such as under or over budget and implement corrective actions.
- Completion of construction projects includes directing construction requirements.
comparing construction results to plans, coordinating with general contractors.
compiling and estimating change orders; scheduling inspections; resolving
problems.
- Show ability to consistently recognize and deal with priorities. Complete all
required work in a timely and accurate manner and ensure that all needed paper
work is completed.
- Understanding of and commitment to customer service and Grace Roofing's core

Requirements
- Reviews approved submittals and contracts before commencement of projects
- Updates schedule of jobs to reflect current status and include machinery
requirements such as crane, snorkel lift, etc.
- Monitors job sites and attends job site meetings
- Meet with inspectors, owners, superintendents and other subcontractors
- Ability to produce a schedule based on job readiness
- Solves and/or refers field problems as they arise
- Orders the fabrication of metals such as drip edge, flashing, coping, etc.
- Complies with and enforces all personnel and safety policies
- Coaches and counsels Crew members, Crew Chiefs and Superintendents
- Confirms satisfactory completion of municipal inspections
- Dispatches all crews and confirm crew payroll information, to include piecework
calculation
- Monitor jobs to ensure quality and proper compliance with company standards
- Recommend improvements, changes or new techniques and procedures
- Review and hire new field personnel
- Price/invoice extra work authorizations from customers
- Verify that crews follow safety procedures set by OSHA
- Carry out specific work plans as assigned by management
- All other duties as assigned
- Bilingual, English Spanish a plus
- Valid FL driver's license
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:
- A minimum of five (5) years of roofing and/or construction experience
- Technical understanding of the products and installation procedures.
- Ability to operate within Microsoft Project
- Efficient in Microsoft Office
- Effective leadership skills that include leading by example, inspiring and mentoring
a team.
- Efficient and organized.
- Manage Company and customer demands.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Must
maintain a positive service attitude.
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to develop and cultivate new and existing

- Basic Contract knowledge.
- Read plans and understand project specifications (CADD a plus).
