JOB DESCRIPTION

A local company is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join their team. This is a first shift opportunity starting at 7 a.m. each day.

Duties:

Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment

Perform conduit bending of all types and sizes and wiring techniques

Read prints and properly install equipment

Use electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices

Lift heavy objects and work in various environments

Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use

Follow all OSHA regulations and NEC safety protocols

Perform other duties as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Must have at least 5 years experience as an electrician in both commercial and industrial environments

Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and safety protocols and practices

Must be familiar with hand and power tools used in electrical work

Must have knowledge of high voltage systems and their installation and maintenance requirements

Must have the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

Must be proficient using electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices

Must have the ability to perform conduit bending of all types and sizes

Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in high and/or tight spaces

Must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Must understand OSHA regulations and protocols and NEC safety standards

Must have strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship

Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
