About the role
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support plant operations by working on critical electrical assets. The role may have an Electrical, Controls or Instrumentation emphasis. Dependent on the successful candidates' experience and needs of business, the role may support and/or report to any one of the teams within the Electrical Systems, Data, Technology, and Automation Team.
This role is a great opportunity to join a truly global mining organization and be involved in the technical electrical support of mining operations.
Reporting to the Superintendent, Asset Planning, you will be:
Providing support to plant electrical and control systems by learning the systems and processes, keeping up required maintenance on those systems, troubleshooting failures and making improvements for a more sustainable operation.
Planning relevant safety requirements into all activities, tasks and projects based on assessed hazards, identified critical risks and mitigating actions
Contributing through applying technical/professional knowledge to solve complex problems and recommend solutions
Developing, maintaining and implementing engineering standards for technical
