About the Facility:

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plantset on over 200 acreswill feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted capacity of up to 50,000 units annually by 2030. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028. Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create over 700 new jobs in the area.

What You Need:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering

At least 3 years of experience in a related engineering field

Knowledge of car electronics and electrical/automatic control systems

Understanding of system construction for production environments

Proficiency in PLC programming and facility control logic

Strong production system design capabilities

Ability to read and interpret design drawings, assembly documents, and specifications

Ability to prepare mechanical drawings, plant layouts, and assembly sketches

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Capable of preparing and delivering technical presentations and training sessions

Ability to lift objects weighing 5-60 pounds during trials and evaluations

What You Will Do:

Design efficient inspection control processes to improve productivity and quality

Adapt vehicle inspection systems for model and design changes

Check facility control drawings and support maintenance for equipment issues

Develop facility control specifications and integrate poka-yoke (foolproof) devices and other line support systems

Support facility controls to improve production line performance

Plan for future facility needs and replacement of outdated systems
