A Successful Technician will have...
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Good customer relations and interpersonal skills (professional disposition, upbeat but down-to-earth with a sense of humor)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A 'self-starter' attitude and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
Great verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use required technology for the position (training provided) Ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision
What You'll Do:
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
You will be primarily responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and installation to a variety of equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, ductless systems, hermetic compressors, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, and humidifiers.
Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out of season equipment.
Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance.
Responding to service calls in a timely manner
About You:
3-5+ years of experience with HVAC systems.
Valid Driver's License & clean driving record
EPA Universal Certification, preferred
NATE Certification, preferred
High school or GED equivalent, required
Ability to pass a background check & drug screen
Ability to lift and maintain holding up to 50 lbs.
Ability to safely climb and balance on a ladder
Ability to work in elevated/high locations (i.e. on roofs)
Verifiable references & work history
Knowledge of parts and tools necessary for each workday's assigned activities
Possession of hand tools required for the job (list available upon request), other tools necessary are supplied.
