Equipment Operator in Floyds Knobs,IN,US

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment to support construction and landscape projects, specializing in grading. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and mechanical knowledge. The Equipment Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations on-site. Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment including graders and loaders, to load, move, and grade earth, stone, or other materials on job sites. Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Follow job specifications and instructions from foreman and managers to ensure project are completed efficiently and effectively. Assist with general labor duties when machines are not in use Maintain accurate records of crew time and equipment usage and report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors. Drive commercial vehicles as needed for transporting equipment or materials to job sites.
