Job Responsibilities

HVAC System Maintenance & Repair - Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential homes

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting - Inspect and diagnose HVAC issues, including heating/cooling malfunctions, air quality problems, and system inefficiencies

Preventative Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning systems, and testing equipment to ensure optimal HVAC system performance

Customer Interaction - Engage with customers to inform them of issues, recommend solutions, and explain the status of their HVAC systems

System Efficiency Recommendations - Recommend products and services to optimize HVAC system performance and increase energy efficiency

Technical Documentation - Use Service Titan software to track repairs, service calls, and installations, ensuring accurate records and customer service documentation

Code Compliance - Ensure all work complies with national and local building codes and regulations

Safety Protocols - Follow all safety protocols to ensure that HVAC systems function properly and safely according to industry standards

Customer Service Excellence - Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude and professional approach

Qualifications

Experience - 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role

Certifications - HVAC certification or equivalent experience from a trade or technical school is preferred

Technical Expertise - Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and air quality equipment

Service Software - Experience with Service Titan or similar software is a plus

Communication Skills - Strong communication skills to clearly explain HVAC issues and solutions to customers

Attention to Detail - Ability to perform work that meets all codes and regulations while maintaining precision and accuracy

Customer-Focused - A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service with a positive, helpful attitude

Driver's License - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
