About the Role

As a **Project Engineer**, you will play a key support role in our project delivery team, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure the seamless execution of construction projects. Youll gain hands-on experience while helping to maintain timelines, budgets, compliance, and documentation all while contributing to the success and quality of every build.

Key Responsibilities

- Support PMs in developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.

- Assist with budget creation, cost tracking, and financial forecasting.

- Help procure materials and services in a cost-effective and timely manner.

- Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing for bids and change orders.

- Maintain project documentation: contracts, plans, meeting minutes, reports, RFIs, and submittals.

- Record and distribute punch list items and daily field issues.

- Assist with preparation of daily reports, inspection logs, and closeout packages.

- Ensure quality and safety standards are met; assist with compliance documentation.

- Participate in project risk analysis and support mitigation strategy development.

- Support logistics, safety planning, permitting, and phasing documentation.

- Assist with post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned into future work.

Qualifications

- 2-3 years of experience with a Commercial General Contractor.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.

- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

- Proficient in project management software and MS Office tools.

- Familiarity with building codes, permitting, and industry regulations.
