responsibilities:

• Assembling comprehensive project estimates and interpreting construction plans and specifications
  
  
• Cultivating long term relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to foster future project opportunities
  
  
• Overseeing subcontractor and vendor procurement, managing buyouts, reviewing scopes of work, drafting contracts, and handling insurance and bonding reviews
  
  
• Processing all project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change order proposals, owner billings and subcontractor vendor billings. Forecast total estimated costs through monthly cost projections.
  
  
• Creating and monitoring project progress, project schedules, and participating in subcontractor meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in related field such as Project Management, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
  
  
• 5 years as a project manager managing commercial projects from concept to completion
  
  
• Proficient with project scheduling and management software
  
  
• Must be able to multi-task on several projects at a time
  
  
• Experience with large box commercial projects such as grocery stores, auto dealerships, and warehouses is ideal
