Automation Personnel Services is looking for experience Metal Fabrication Welder for a metal distribution facility based in Alpharetta , GA . This company was founded over 100 years ago and is a well-known leader in the metals field. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing an array of duties such as welding, fabricating, and other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate
$ 2 7 . 5 0 per hour
Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday , 7 :00 a m to 3 : 00 pm O vertime may be mandatory Metal Fabrication Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld products according to precise drawings and production specifications, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and welding procedures.
• Select the optimal sequence of fitting and weld to meet quality program specifications and project deadlines.
• Post-inspect welded assemblies to ensure adherence to proper manufacturing specifications.
• Maintain high-quality results and complete the necessary quality documentation and production vouchers accurately.
• Flame/plasma bevel precision parts in line with customer drawings and specifications.
• Receive and sort incoming and outgoing inventory using warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack s, and overhead cranes .
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Metal Fabrication Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum three years of fabrication experience including welding experience or recent welder program certification.
• Previous flame/plasma beveling experience highly preferred
• Previous forklift or overhead crane experience highly preferred .
• Drug screening and background checks required.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.
