Field Technician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Field Technician with experience in commercial electrical work. The ideal candidate will possess more than three years of experience in the field and will be proficient in operating a backhoe and working with PVC, conduit, and wire. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in new commercial construction settings.

**Responsibilities**

+ Repair and install electrical and HVAC systems.

+ Pull and run wire in new commercial construction projects.

+ Maintain electrical equipment and wiring.

+ Install and service light fixtures, receptacles, outlets, and electrical control systems.

+ Connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers, or other components.

+ Run conduit for electrical wiring systems.

+ Interpret and understand plans and blueprints.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Electrician.

+ Proficiency in operating a backhoe.

+ Ability to run and bend conduit, wire, and EMT for commercial projects.

+ Competence in bending and installing conduit, pulling, and running wire.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring them up.

+ Experience troubleshooting existing wiring.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and drills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with PVC pipe, steel, or carbon metal pipe.

+ Must have all hand tools and basic tools including drills.

+ Must provide own hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and safety vest (PPE).

+ Reliable transportation required.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TALLAHASSEE, Florida.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
