Job Title: Project Scheduler II

Job Description

As a Project Scheduler II, you will play a crucial role in collecting, inputting, and analyzing schedule information swiftly and reliably. You will be responsible for generating forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation essential for monitoring and managing projects effectively. Your ability to research and report on various external and internal factors that may impact project success will be vital. Additionally, you will evaluate current processes and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of project scheduling. You will report schedule variances and concerns to the scheduling manager, project managers, and leadership, while attending and establishing department planning meetings with stakeholders throughout the company to build relationships and ensure proper schedule inputs.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, input, and analyze schedule information quickly and reliably.
  • Generate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation to monitor and manage projects.
  • Research and report on various external and internal factors that may impact project success.
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency of scheduling projects.
  • Report schedule variances and concerns to scheduling manager, project managers, and leadership.
  • Attend and/or establish department planning meetings with stakeholders throughout the company.
  • Familiarize with engineering, construction, and procurement processes to provide helpful inputs, feedback, and review of schedule durations and logic.
  • Proactively seek schedule and risk information that may impact the project timeline.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with Primavera P6 for 2+ years.
  • Clear communication skills for presenting to managers.
  • Understanding of project controls and construction.
  • Ability to accurately communicate, investigate, and identify solutions.
  • Experience with standard project planning and scheduling methodologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in scientific, construction, or business field preferred.
  • 2+ years of prior project or construction scheduling experience.
  • Experience with non-routine projects highly preferred.
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Relationship building skills.

Work Environment

This role involves working 80% on-site with typical hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, offering some flexibility. You will be based in an office environment and will report to the designated person.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Benefits - HSA, HRA Contribution

3 Weeks PTO - Holiday Time
