ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a mission-driven Operations Manager to support the execution of the GFORCE facilities operations contract at Fort Greely’s Missile Defense Complex (MDC). This role is instrumental in driving contract performance, ensuring mission readiness, and managing field operations in a remote, classified setting.
The Operations Manager works closely with the Program Manager and oversees daily operational activities across multiple functional areas including mechanical, electrical, custodial, and security escort support. This role serves as the PM’s senior operational designee and ensures uninterrupted contract support in their absence. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong background in DoD or federal facility support, capable of managing diverse teams and navigating evolving mission priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily facility operations and service delivery in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Direct field-level performance across power plant operations, HVAC, life safety systems, custodial services, and secure access attendants.
- Support execution of contract deliverables including outage coordination, BMAR reviews, Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and CDRL reporting.
- Manage workforce deployment, staffing adjustments, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Engage with key stakeholders including MDA, USACE, DPW, and other government representatives to ensure contract alignment and service continuity.
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, training, and environmental requirements; ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs; lead process improvement initiatives that drive contract performance and team accountability.
- Provide operational leadership during planned and unplanned absences of the Program Manager.
- A secret clearance and/or ability to be cleared.
- A Bachelor’s degree in addition to 5 years, or equivalent experience
- Experience to reflect progressively responsible experience in facilities management, construction, or maintenance operations supporting critical infrastructure, including 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience must include:
• Oversight of multidisciplinary teams in federal or DoD environments.
• Stakeholder coordination with government customers (MDA, USACE, DPW, etc.).
• Implementation of safety, compliance, and operational controls across complex or classified worksites.
• Management of geographically dispersed or remote teams delivering 24/7 support.
- PMP certification, or willingness to obtain it within two years of hire.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HEMP maintenance, RCM principles, and Predictive Maintenance models.
- Familiarity with CMMS, PCMS, or SCMS tracking systems.
- Experience overseeing federal contract compliance, CDRL deliverables, and customer communications in a highly regulated environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, coordination, and decision support.
